SUMMARY:St Helens World of Glass
DESCRIPTION:The World of Glass Museum is one of Merseyside’s most treasured cultural landmarks\,and is celebrating its 25th anniversary while at the same time facing imminent closure unless £50\,000 is raised in the next 3 months.  Created in 2000 by amalgamating items from the Pilkinton Glass Museum and St Helens Borough Council it depicts life in St Helens through the history of glassmaking.  NWCC have organised this event in order to help the museum raise funds. \nA sheet will be out at club night for all who wish to attend.  For those who cannot make the meeting please contact Kenny or any member of the committee to add you to the list. \nAll vehicles to be on site before 10am

SUMMARY:Warrington Disability Awareness Day at Walton Hall and Gardens\, WA4 6SN
DESCRIPTION:Disability Awareness Day (“DAD”) is the world’s largest ‘not for profit’ voluntary-led disability exhibition\, held annually in a huge tented village within the grounds of Walton Hall Gardens in Warrington.  It has been running since 1992. \nVisitors to the show can expect to find over 200 exhibitors\, equipment suppliers\, transport\, holidays\, leisure\, employment\, support groups and services. PLUS a Sports Zone including Scuba diving\, a Performing Arts Marquee\, Arts and Crafts Marquees\, Silent disco\, Centre Arena and family entertainment. Next year the show is on Sunday 13th July\, it opens at 10am and finishes at 4.30pm\, and entry is FREE with a FREE programme.  \nIdeal for those vehicles who cannot attend the Daresbury Steam Event which occurs on the same weekend. \nPlease book in at club night or speak to Kenny J or any member of the committee to get your name added to the event list.

DESCRIPTION:Carnival & Massive Classic Car Show.\nNorth West Casual Classics Club have organised their Car Show at this location for quite a number of years and the number of classic cars has increased year on year. Trophies will be awarded to winners for a range of categories of classic vehicles on show. The route is roughly 34 miles and we are starting once again from The Hayloft\, Sandy Lane\, Bold\, Widnes\, Cheshire\, WA8 3XP .The Hayloft will be open at 10.00 and you may purchase tea/coffee or bacon butties etc. Please note the Hayloft only accepts card payments – no cash. The Run starts from 10.30. This year we are going west taking in some fine roads and countryside towards Cronton and then north skirting Knowsley then on through Bickerstaff and Lathom then on to Heskin Hall. Driving at an average of just over 20mph you should be at Heskin Hall between 12.00 and 12.30pm. There is a classic car meet at the Hall and they will be reserving space for you.”
