The World of Glass Museum is one of Merseyside’s most treasured cultural landmarks,and is celebrating its 25th anniversary while at the same time facing imminent closure unless £50,000 is raised in the next 3 months.  Created in 2000 by amalgamating items from the Pilkinton Glass Museum and St Helens Borough Council it depicts life in St Helens through the history of glassmaking.  NWCC have organised this event in order to help the museum raise funds.
